Assembly and Welding

All our welding processes and our welders are certified.  Frames for TURBINAS FRANCIS, up to 11,000 kg and 5 metres in diameter are one of the projects demonstrating the potential of Talleres JUAN LASA.

We can highlight the complex development of each of its parts that, after being curved and assembled, must meet the requested requirements. 

This is done using specific programmes for CAD and 3D design. (customer: VOITH HYDRO). Another example of our capability is producing FRAMES, ENGINES, AXLES AND COVERS for all types of designs, shapes and sizes, up to 10,700 Kw and 15,000 kg.

We have vast experience in producing SUBMERGIBLE FRAMES for engines up to 10,000 Kw and 15 KV for marine dredgers capable of operating up to 200m under the sea level, withstanding enormous pressure that tests the seals on each weld, INDAR).

Due to their wide variety, SHELLS are parts that have to be very flexible when meeting the customer's specifications. As an example we might quote only the shells that we manufacture for hydraulic press, from 4 to 500 Tonnes, always meeting each project's requirements.
